  1. Brief introduction of the achievement

This achievement is a new type of solar cell technology that uses organic semiconductor materials as photoelectric conversion materials. Organic solar cells are a "sandwich" structure, consisting of transparent conductive electrodes, organic semiconductor films, interface layers and metal electrodes. Compared with traditional inorganic solar cells such as silicon and gallium arsenide, organic solar cells have the characteristics of simple manufacturing process, solution processing and easy preparation of large-area flexible battery modules. They have broad application prospects in the fields of wearable energy, consumer electronics, Internet of Things, building photovoltaics, and automotive photovoltaics. After 20 years of development, the efficiency of organic solar cells has increased from 3% to 19%-20%.

  1. Application fields

It can be applied to wearable energy, consumer electronics, Internet of Things, building photovoltaics, automotive photovoltaics and other fields.

  1. Market prospects

In view of the outstanding characteristics of organic solar cells such as lightness, thinness and flexibility, organic solar cells are expected to open up a blue ocean market of hundreds of billions and further increase the penetration rate of new energy solar cells.

  1. Intellectual property rights

More than 10 domestic and foreign patents have been approved, all of which are held by the achievement units alone.
