Food nuclear contamination detector is developed to address numerous complex technical challenges in identifying nuclear-contaminated food. It adopts a large-thickness integral lead shielding design, which significantly reduces environmental background radiation interference. Meanwhile, it is equipped with a unique high-sensitivity scintillator. Combined with multi-channel energy spectrum identification technology for trace nuclide identification, it achieves excellent anti-interference capability and detection accuracy.
It is being widely used by customs, food, drug, environmental protection, and inspection and quarantine departments of many countries.
What is CBRNE?
CBRNE stands for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives. Often this term is used to describe incidents that involve one of these materials, ranging from an industrial accident to a terrorist attack. Similarly, hazmat refers to hazardous materials which pose a threat to human and environmental health.
CBRNE defence includes activities, processes, and solutions designed to mitigate the risks of these incidents and protect against the impacts they may cause. In many countries, CBRNE equipment and solutions, Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and Cyber Range are listed as Police Supplies.
What is a CBRNE threat?
A CBRNE threat occurs when CBRNE material is released, or has the potential to be released, in a dangerous way. For example, if a factor containing chemicals has a spill or a leak, or if there is an airborne toxin. CBRNE hazards may be caused by accidents, poor safety measures, or by malicious actors.
CBRNE/hazmat incidents are complex to detect and combat. These events can take place in a range of environments, but urban incidents pose a particular threat to the public. A CBRNE/hazmat incident has the potential to cause severe impacts to people, infrastructure, and economies, and so although they are not frequent occurrences, they are still considered to be a significant threat to society.
