[Product/Solution] Miniaturized Strong Penetration Intelligent Communication System

  1. Brief Introduction

This achievement focuses on the national deep-earth and deep-sea cross-medium communication positioning problems. Aiming at the problems of huge volume, extremely high power consumption and poor mobility of existing low-frequency transmitting antennas, this achievement explores the "new mechanism" of low-frequency electromagnetic wave radiation based on magnetic wave antennas, and applies the "new strategy" of low-frequency transmitting source positioning algorithm based on particle swarm optimization. A miniaturized strong penetration intelligent communication system for deep-earth and deep-sea is developed, which can significantly reduce the size of low-frequency electromagnetic transmitting antenna to 1/1000 of the existing antenna size. This achievement has five major characteristics of "miniaturization, strong penetration, cross-medium, portability, and strong anti-interference", which can meet the future underground, underwater and large-span beyond-line-of-sight communication needs.


  1. Application Field

It is suitable for miniaturized strong penetration intelligent communication and positioning scenarios in cross-medium and multi-disaster coupling environments. In the military field, highly reliable and large-coverage communications in high-threat/denial environments are the key development directions of national defense science and technology and combat capabilities of various countries. In the civilian field, it can be used for mine emergency communications, offshore search and rescue, underground pipe gallery/subway monitoring and fire disaster rescue communications, especially for ground and underground communications in coal mine tunnels to achieve vertical penetration of 233m, cross-medium miniaturized underwater electromagnetic communications at a depth of 100 meters, and penetration status monitoring for underground pipe gallery to achieve information transmission of wireless monitoring nodes in underground pipe gallery at a depth of 24 meters.


  1. Market prospects

Take the coal mine emergency penetration communication scenario as an example: China has more than 90,000 mines and nearly 8 million employees. The mining industry represented by the coal industry has an irreplaceable basic position in the national economy. However, mining accidents in my country occur frequently, the rescue efficiency is low, and the safety production situation is extremely severe. There is an urgent need for effective penetration communication and positioning systems to solve the bottleneck problem of the lack of vital signs and location information of trapped personnel in the mine rescue. Compared with the international industry leaders Canary and TeleMag, the R&D test prototype of this achievement has achieved the same communication distance with a size of 1/100, and the performance and size are fully leading, breaking through the application limitations of peers.
