[Product/Solution] Portable micro gas turbine power generation system

1. Brief introduction of the results

This project proposed a micro gas turbine power generation system scheme with a coaxial compact layout of a gas generator and an ultra-high-speed generator based on a heat recovery high-efficiency aerodynamic thermodynamic cycle, and successfully broke through key technologies such as ultra-high-speed motors, micro-sized impellers, and lightweight regenerators, and completed the development of a 7~10kW micro gas turbine power generation system BH-MTG7. The system has many advantages such as compactness, lightness, high efficiency, high reliability, long life, low vibration, low noise, and fuel diversification. The comprehensive performance indicators are internationally leading.

(1) Power generation: 7kW for models with heat recovery unit and 10kW for models without heat recovery unit;

(2) Fuel consumption rate: 0.46kg/(kW·h) for models with heat recovery unit and 0.67kg/(kW·h) for models without heat recovery unit;

(3) Weight: 6kg for models with heat recovery unit and 4kg for models without heat recovery unit;

(4) Service life: 3000h


2. Application fields

It can be used for individual power generation, field power supply, emergency rescue and disaster relief, solar thermal power generation, micro-unmanned equipment and new energy vehicles.


3. Application prospects

At present, there is a great demand for micro gas turbine power generation systems of 7-10kW, but it is still blank at home and abroad. No other units in China have carried out relevant research, and foreign systems are also in the development stage, and there are no mature products yet. Micro gas turbine power generation systems of this power level can be used as portable micro power generation systems, micro unmanned equipment power systems and new energy vehicle range extenders. They are widely used in individual power generation, field power supply, emergency rescue and disaster relief, solar thermal power generation, micro unmanned equipment and new energy vehicles. In particular, in the fields of individual portable power supply, military field power supply, micro unmanned combat equipment, etc., it has a wide range of application prospects as a national defense equipment urgently needed by my country. Existing research results show that the micro gas turbine power generation system has a market size of nearly 100 billion yuan and has a very promising market prospect.


4. Intellectual property rights

10 patents have been approved, all of which are held by the achievement units alone.
